We have 4 weeks of holiday before our final year starts, and out of no where, we said let’s go and have a trip together!
Then we scout for any reliable promotion and we come across this and we pay the deposit. Everything done within a week.
It is indeed a great deal for a weekend trip. and most importantly cheap!
Having the best weather to sunburn ourselves which is on May, Terengganu is all sunny until the monsoon season which seasoned on November to February. And off we go packing our swimsuit, sunscreen lotion and get our butt to Terengganu.
Unlike the west coast, Terengganu is amazingly sunny throughout our stay. although it’s just 3D2N, Our itinerary is planned by the agent, Mr Ong, and his package is super worth: for RM310 we get to stay in an air-cond room, return speedboat from Kuala Besut to Pulau Perhentian, 2 nights accommodation, rental of snorkeling equipment and island hopping! Pretty sick weh!
Our first stop right after we checked in to Flora Bay is to Pulau Redang. Stunningly fine white sands and crystal clear seawater falls right before your eyes when you reached Pulau Redand! Imagining seeing baby shark and the colorful swarm of fishes everywhere surrounding you!!!
Marine Park is a must go and must snorkel place. Geez they are prettier than snorkeling in Phi Phi! I have no confident in swimming in the sea so our speedboat captain tour us by asking us to hold his arm while he paddle with his legs. 2 people holding each arm. and there we are the walker in the sea!
Bring bread crumb makes all the differences. Fishes dancing around you in the sea and you couldn’t stop them and you cant even shoo them away!
Perhentian Kecil, or we called it Long Beach, is amazing, far more prettier than Perhentian Besar. But according to sharkman, it is safer to stay in Perhentian Besar since it is surrounded by rocks besides. I have never seen Long Beach in night, they said is a must go where they will have bonfires and fireshows!
During this trip we have seen Queen Sea Turtles, sharks (YES I CAN PROUDLY SAY WE SAW THREE!) and swarms of fish in fish point! I guess the sun enhances our trip and our photos!
